The Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), Chief Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, has officially announced the adoption of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, as the National Patron of the organisation.

The declaration, made during a strategic stakeholders' meeting attended by coordinators and departmental leaders of the initiative, marks a significant political and developmental partnership aimed at advancing responsible leadership, community empowerment, and grassroots development.

Speaking during the meeting, Pastor Reuben Wilson said the decision was reached after a careful and deliberate assessment of Senator Lokpobiri’s leadership style, dedication to public service, and commitment to the welfare of the people.

According to him, the move goes beyond personal relationships and is rooted in a sincere belief that the minister possesses the vision, capacity, and leadership qualities needed to inspire progress and attract meaningful development to communities across the region.

Pastor Reuben noted that leadership should be supported when it demonstrates accountability, inclusiveness, and a genuine commitment to improving lives. He stressed that his endorsement and adoption of Senator Lokpobiri as National Patron followed years of observing the minister's performance and contributions in public office.

"I do not associate with people carelessly," Pastor Reuben stated. "My support is based on conviction, trust, and confidence in Senator Lokpobiri’s ability to deliver results and positively impact the lives of our people."

He further explained that the gathering was convened to openly communicate the initiative's new direction to members and stakeholders, emphasizing the importance of unity, collective participation, and strategic collaboration in achieving shared developmental goals.

The announcement was met with enthusiasm and applause from stakeholders present, many of whom described the decision as timely and visionary. Participants expressed optimism that the partnership would create greater opportunities for youth empowerment, community engagement, and sustainable development initiatives.

Beyond the adoption announcement, discussions at the meeting focused on strengthening the activities of PRIFGLA and encouraging members to continue promoting responsible leadership, peaceful political participation, and accountability at all levels of governance.

With the official adoption of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri as its National Patron, PRIFGLA says it is positioning itself for a new phase of growth and impact, driven by a shared commitment to service, development, and the advancement of society.
